Energy Optimization for Hospitality Facility
Location: Georgia | Installed 2023
Challenge
A three-story hotel in Georgia — featuring 123 guest rooms, an event center, and a conference facility — faced high and fluctuating electricity costs due to constant year-round usage.
With energy-intensive operations including HVAC systems, lighting, and event utilities, the property required a solution to lower its electrical consumption without disrupting guest comfort or service quality.
Solution
To address inefficiencies and reduce utility expenses, ENV Technologies deployed its Energy Optimization System across the hotel’s electrical infrastructure.
A total of 11 devices were installed across 28 breaker boxes, strategically daisy-chained by a certified electrician to maximize coverage and performance without extensive rewiring or downtime.
Results (31 Days Before vs. 28 Days After Implementation)
After 12 months of continuous operation, the hotel achieved:
- 13.51% reduction in electricity consumption (kWh)
- Significant monthly utility cost savings
- Stable electrical performance across all operational areas
- Improved system efficiency and reduced wear on connected equipment
Broader Impact
- Operational Savings: Lower ongoing energy bills improved profitability without increasing room rates.
- Sustainability Progress: Reduced energy use aligned with the property’s sustainability and corporate responsibility goals.
- Guest Comfort Maintained: Optimization was achieved with no impact on HVAC, lighting, or guest amenities, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
The Outcome
Through ENV Technologies’ Energy Optimization System, this hospitality client achieved 13.51% energy savings, lowered operating costs, and improved long-term electrical performance — all while supporting a more sustainable and resilient operation.
