CASE STUDIES
At Env Technologies, every project begins with a deep dive into our client’s specific needs, operational goals, and industry context. We approach each challenge with a tailored strategy—combining technical expertise, cross-sector insight, and a commitment to long-term impact. Our case studies reflect how we turn complex problems into practical, sustainable solutions—delivering measurable results across the Power, Water, HVAC, and Fuel sectors. These success stories showcase not just what we do, but how we do it: with precision, innovation, and a relentless focus on client outcomes.
Case Study #1 - Fast Food Restaurant
TX location on January 19, 2024, to optimize water cost. The analysis, covering a period before (31 days) and after implementation (28 days), shows a 47% reduction in water cost, resulting in significant cost savings. This report provides an in-depth look at the financial and operational impact.
- Total Annual Consumption Measured: 543,120 gallons
- Average Monthly Consumption Measured: 44,640 gallons
- Average Daily Consumption Measured: 1,488 gallons
- Total Annual Cost: $7,060.56
Before: The average daily water consumption measured was 1,488 gallons. This resulted in substantial water-related expenses, including high utility bill costs and inefficient water flow management leading to wastage.
After: The average daily water consumption measured decreased to 788 gallons. This translates to:
- Average Annual Consumption Measured: 287,620 gallons
- Average Monthly Consumption Measured: 23,640 gallons
- Total reduction: 700 gallons per day
- Percentage reduction: 47%
- Estimated cost savings per year: $3,321.50
- Estimated cost savings per month: $276.79
Beyond cost savings, ENV delivered operational, sustainability, and risk-reduction advantages, ensuring long-term value and efficiency:
- Operational Efficiency: Maintains stable water pressure while reducing unnecessary waste. Flow rates remain within optimal ranges, enhancing water meter accuracy and preventing overbilling due to air volume in the lines.
- Sustainability Gains: We reduced the energy used by the water municipality to power the pumps that maintain system pressure. By conserving this energy, and minimizing environmental impact and supports corporate sustainability initiatives.
- Risk Reduction: Controls excessively high water pressure, preventing overconsumption and potential damage to plumbing systems, equipment, and infrastructure. Additionally, it acts as a shock absorber against pressure surges and drops, reducing the likelihood of leaks and costly repairs.
Case Study #2 - Water Treatment Plant
Resolving Electrical Blips and Power Surges for a Surface Water Treatment Plant.
A Surface Water Treatment Plant faced persistent electrical blips and power surges that caused frequent failures of critical pumps and motors. These failures not only led to costly repairs but also required the temporary rental of pumps and motors, adding further strain on operational budgets and efficiency.
Our Solution stepped in to address these challenges by installing our patented Voltage Recycling System on seven of the plant’s switchgears. Our innovative system provided immediate and lasting benefits, including:
-
Reduction of electricity costs
-
Elimination of micro blips and power surges
-
Optimized Efficiency Factors
-
Balanced three-phase voltage
-
Extended equipment lifespan
Thanks to the Voltage Recycling System, the plant now operates with improved reliability, reduced maintenance costs, and enhanced energy efficiency, ensuring uninterrupted service for the community.
Case Study #3 - Hospitality Business
Located in Georgia, A 3-floor hotel with 123 guest rooms, an event center, and a conference room continually serving events and travelers year-round. Like all multi-unit and multi-purpose buildings, this Atlanta Hotel has a significant electric bill. The hotel installed 11 devices across 28 breaker boxes with the electrician daisy-chaining devices when possible. Over the first 12 months, the hotel achieved 13.51% in KWh savings.
Case Study #4 - Educational Facility
A University Campus of Engineering hired us for their Capstone Engineering Project with their senior students. Aligning with their mission to examine new technologies, students conducted a 14-month installation and measurement project in their 155,000-square Athletic Center.
In the first two months, 11 of our devices were installed in the Athletic Center, which boasts two gyms, a pool, and offices. Following their training, the students selected comparable “control” buildings on campus and established protocols for collecting and evaluating data for the remaining 12 months.
Data was collected and compared at 2, 4, 6, 9, and 12 months, resulting in a 12.5% kWh decrease in consumption and ~10% increase in electrical savings.
Case Study #5 - Exercise & Fitness Center
Exercise and Fitness centers present the perfect opportunity to deliver savings. TVs, digital monitors, equipment and extensive lighting are energy hogs and during peak demand time drive electricity consumption and costs up. We delivered a healthy 13% savings in kilowatt-hours at a facility in Birmingham (Roebuck), Alabama reducing downtime and saving money by preserving the life of electronics and equipment.
Indoor air quality is a critical element, and we deliver the highest level of air quality and reduce the electricity costs associated with the HVAC.
Water consumption between swimming pools, bathrooms and showers is another area and we generate savings between 10-20%.
